It is possible to install a Helty MVHR unit underneath an air conditioner without any contraindications, as long as the minimum distances given in the installation manual are respected. The air jet of a split, in fact, is generally directed towards the center of the room, so it does not directly interfere with the operation of the MVHR.

On the other hand, installation over fan coils or radiators is not recommended as, in this case, the warm air injected may be captured directly by the MVHR, distorting the room temperature reading (the machine may regulate itself at minimum speed, due to the excessive Delta T).
