What is included in the packaging of a Helty wall-mounted MVHR unit?
The packaging contains all the main components required to install and commission the Helty MVHR unit. Tools and materials needed to drill the two 80 or 100 mm wall openings are not included.
The packaging of a Helty wall-mounted MVHR unit includes all the main components required for installation and commissioning, except for the tools and materials needed to drill the wall openings.
The supplied components include:
- External grilles
- Flexible air ducts with a diameter of 80 mm
- Fixing kit, including screws and expansion plugs for wall mounting
- Installation template, to facilitate correct positioning of the unit
- Power supply, to provide power to the unit
- Infrared remote control, for remote operation of the unit functions
- Combined ePM2.5 65% + Coarse90% filter, for filtering the incoming outdoor air
- Airtight gaskets, to ensure an airtight seal between the unit and the wall
- QR code linking to the user and installation manuals, for correct installation and operation
- Energy label, providing information on the unit’s energy performance
The packaging of versions equipped with a sensible heat exchanger also includes:
- An 8 mm silicone condensate drain tube
- An insect screen for the condensate drain outlet
Any additional plastic or corrugated pipe required to connect the condensate drain to the building drainage system is not supplied.
Installing a Helty wall-mounted MVHR unit requires two 80 mm core-drilled holes, or 100 mm holes when the relevant ducting accessory is used. The unit must also be connected to the electrical supply and, for models equipped with a sensible heat exchanger, a condensate drain must be provided. Suitable equipment is therefore required, and installation by a qualified professional is recommended.
Depending on the specific wall-mounted MVHR model, the packaging may also include additional components or accessories.
